Lieutenant Commander Rick Heatherly (callsign: Jester) is a Naval Aviator and an instructor at TOPGUN. Both he and Viper trained Maverick, Goose, Iceman, Slider, Hollywood, and Wolfman during their time at TOPGUN. During Top Gun: Hard Lock Jester is still around to also train more next generation pilots like Spider, Bishop, Wiseguy, Punchline, Fury, & Playbook.
