I love top gun and top gun maverick also miles teller is my celebrity crush.
Still crying over Goose's death. How's yall's days goin'?
Saw that in a random local cinema. Got me thinking about Hangman
Rooster: can't shut up (like a literal rooster every 7 AM)
Phoenix: Her F/A-18F gets into a bird strike and goes down having caught fire. Then, she pulls the ejection handle and ejects like a phoenix rising from the ashes
Coyote: he's quite slow, slower than a coyote
Omaha: he loves rushing
Yale: he's probably too dumb to go to Yale university
Payback: does not pay his debts back that he owes people
That's all for part one
I came here from Transformers wiki and i am happy to contrib any knowledge about Top Gun i know because i have Top Gun syndrome and american bias.
My favourite character is Phoenix for some reason
Top Gun syndrome:
Instead of brain there is F/A-18F Hornets in temple
Here is the Music of Top Gun NES Select Missile Remix. I hope you love this music.
The movie was released on May 27, 2022 and grossed $1.493 billion worldwide, which made it at the time the 11th highest-grossing movie in the world (behind Avatar 1, The Avengers 4, Titanic, Star Wars 7, The Avengers 3, Spider-Man No Way Home, Jurassic Park 4, 2019 Lion King, The Avengers 1 and Fast and Furious 7). It's now the 12th highest-grossing movie in the world. It's also the 2nd highest-grossing movie of 2022 (behind Avatar 2), the highest-grossing movie distributed by Paramount* (finally surpassing Transformers 3 after 11 years) and the highest-grossing movie of Tom Cruise's career (surpassing Mission Impossible 6). It was also the 1st movie of Tom Cruise's career to gross $800 million, $900 million and $1 billion. Even though I genuinly liked it more than all the Mission Impossible movies I admit I'm still kind of surprised it grossed more than all of them
*Unless you consider Titanic a Paramount movie, which was distributed by Paramount in the United States and grossed $1.843 billion in 1997 (and $2.256 billion after re-releases)
The movie was released on May 16, 1986 and grossed $353 million worldwide in its initial release (and $357 million after re-releases), which made it at the time the 10th highest-grossing movie in the world (behind E.T., A New Hope, Jaws, The Empire Strikes Back, Gone with the Wind, Indiana Jones 1, Return of the Jedi, Back to the Future 1 and Grease). It's now the 411th highest-grossing movie in the world*. It's also the highest-grossing movie of 1986
*It would rank 413th if The Exorcist (1973), which grossed $329 million in its initial release (and $441 million after re-releases), Beauty and the Beast (1991), which grossed $331 million in its initial release (and $424 million after re-releases), Spirited Away (2001), which grossed $274 million in its initial release (and $357 million after re-releases), Apollo 13 (1995), which grossed $353 million in its initial release (and $355 million after re-releases) and this movie had never been re-released

f/a-18E/F superhornet: Defibrillators are Heartie Starties
mil mi-24: Nightmares are Dreamy Screamies
sukhoi su-57: Stamps are Lickie Stickies
northrop f-5 tiger/mig-28, annoyed: You are disappointments
f-14 tomcat: You're a loose cannon, f/a-18E/F superhornet.
f/a-18E/F superhornet: No, I'm not. I'm a cannon maybe, but a loose cannon? Is that what you think of me?
northrop f-5 tiger/mig-28: I think you play by your own rules.
sukhoi su-57: No way, they think rules were made to be broken.
f-14 tomcat: Those are all attributes of a loose cannon.
f/a-18E/F superhornet: No, I'm just a reckless renegade. mil mi-24 is a loose cannon.
mil mi-24: *smashes a chair*

Not sure if anyone notices this, but in the early scene when maverick and penny reunite he clearly calls her Peggy. thought i imagined this at first, so I hit rewind and sure enough he calls her Peggy. Wonder if this was done on purpose. seems unlikely that this was missed by so many people.
I was watching Top Gun Maverick for the 5th time yesterday and my 10 year old sister walks in (I'm 13) and she said Warlock looked like Obama
I dont blame her since for the first few times I watched Top Gun Maverick I thought Maverick with his helmet on looked like Bill Nye the science guy
Hello, everyone! The Fandom community staff has been given a great opportunity to be able to interview Monica Barbaro and Lewis Pullman for the 4K release of Top Gun: Maverick.
They have humbly asked me if I and the rest of the community here would like to participate in submitting fan questions for both cast members. I took the liberty of accepting on behalf of the wiki.
This discussion post is where you can respond with your questions, so feel free to drop them below.
Edit: Submission deadline has now passed.
